To add Text:

  1. Open your Splice project
  2. Position the playhead (yellow vertical line) to the point where you'd like to insert your text
  3. Tap on Text from the main toolbar > select Text > add your text
  4. On the timeline, tap on the Text bar to edit it or change its Color, Font, etc. in the editing toolbar
  5. On the preview screen, you can enlarge the text or make it smaller with the help of a pinching gesture
  • Edit Text duration. After your text boxes appear on the timeline, tap on the one you wish to extend or shorten > drag the white side handle towards right/left.
  • Reposition text. To position the text box differently, long-press it and move right/left on the timeline.
  • Remove Text. On the timeline, tap twice on the green text box > tap Delete from the shortcut menu.

To add a new Text box: position the playhead to the point where you'd like to insert your new text box and follow the steps above.
